Drug Action Teams

Together with ISLHD Drug and Alcohol Service, Healthy Cities Illawara works with many organisations and groups to build safe, healthy and resilient communities through preventing, responding and reducing health, social and economic harms related to drug and alcohol use.

The Illawarra Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Local Drug Action Team aims to work in partnership to prevent drug and alcohol related harm specifically for young people from diverse backgrounds. The Wollongong Drug Action Team and the Community Drug Action Teams are also part of the wider network that work together to identify priority groups and deliver supportive, community-based programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices about drugs and alcohol.
