News Important Update: WOFM Closure To our wonderful customers, Wollongong Online Farmers Market was started as a non-profit initiative by Healthy Cities Illawarra and Food Fairness Illawarra to strengthen our local food system for the benefit of our community, our producers and our environment. Since our launch in March last year, we’ve been able to connect our incredible local producers directly to you, and whilst we’ve loved doing what we do, it has not come without its challenges. From the wild weather to inflation and the continual rising interest rates that have affected our growth and financial sustainability. It is with a heavy heart that we’ve made the tough decision close down Wollongong Online Farmers Market. Unfortunately, our hands are somewhat forced in this regard. The WOFM team remain committed to, and passionate about supporting local food producers and providing access to locally grown and sustainable food.
