Do you work at, own or manage a food business in the Illawarra? Join us at this free practical forum for local hospitality, food retail and food production businesses looking to reduce food waste, save on disposal costs, and donate surplus food safely and legally.

Hear from local food relief organisations and hospitality operators already integrating food donation into their business, and get hands-on guidance from the new Hospitality Food Donations Guidelines, including NSW legislation updates so that you’re clear on your rights when it comes to donating food.

The afternoon includes guest speakers Mandy Booker, CEO of Wollongong Homeless Hub & Housing Services, Solange Frost, Regional Director of Operations at Vinnies, and Jules Mitry, Owner of Balinese Spice Magic. We’ll also serve up some afternoon tea, and you can take a stroll around the beautiful urban farm.
