The Friday Forum #3: A public health approach to palliative and end of life care
October 15, 2021 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
| FreeA public health approach to palliative and end of life care engages civic and social sector participation in the palliative and end-of-life care of citizens, recognising that the social dimensions of illness, dying, death and bereavement involve and are of concern for everyone.
The Healthy End of Life Program (HELP) is a research-informed public health palliative care intervention and evaluation framework to guide evidence-based practice. HELP uses the full suite of public health strategies designed to produce settings and place-based reorientation, population outcomes and citizen engagement, including those who are marginalised and vulnerable.
This free webinar will provide an overview of this increasingly popular approach to palliative and end of life care in a variety of settings.
